Remote Elective Portfolio

Remote Elective Portfolio

Can you imagine an elective course at your university that can also be chosen and attended by students from other universities across Europe?

That’s exactly what we do with launching this course, part of the I&E Remote Elective Portfolio and shared with other EIT Digital Students from Université de Rennes 1, Eötvös Loránd University Budapest, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, UniTrento, and Université Côte d’Azur, who joined us remotely to attend the same classes.

This special I&E elective by Polimi is about grant writing for innovation proposals and, in our first lecture, prof. Nicoletta Di Blas guided us to rethink the process of diffusion in innovation, starting from the ecosystem: what does it happen when a new product or service is brought to market?

Part of the I&E Remote Elective Portfolio, which collects courses from different partner universities, our classes can be attended remotely by their students as well.

This initiative is supported by EIT Digital with the aim to foster distributed education across Europe.

With EIT Digital we are used to breaking down barriers and conceiving new pedagogical approaches for a distributed learning environment, in which teachers can merge their classes for joint activities, exchange students, co-design courses, and share educational assets with the whole network.

This way EIT Digital Master School is a truly pan-Europan programme at a higher level, overarching single local education contexts.

Thanks to all the students involved for their active participation, to the teachers in our I&E Community of Practice for believing in this project, and to Alvaro Pina Stranger (Université de Rennes 1) for leading the initiative.
